Accessibility Statement
TropicalBuzz wants every guest to be able to use this website, whatever device or assistive technology they rely on.
Last updated: July 25, 2026.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Accessibility is built into how this site is made rather than added on afterward.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with a single, descriptive heading structure on every page.
- A skip to main content link and full keyboard navigation with a visible focus ring.
- Text and interface colors checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Decorative icons and illustrations hidden from screen readers, meaningful controls fully labeled.
- An age gate that is keyboard trappable, announced as a dialog, and returns focus to the page once confirmed.
- Layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling down to 320px wide.
- Respect for the operating system's reduce motion setting, including the hero sunburst, the drifting bee, and the palm sway.
- A floating accessibility panel for adjusting text size, contrast, underlined links, font, and motion, with your choices remembered for your next visit.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is never finished. We review new pages and content as they are published, and we treat any barrier a guest reports as a defect to be fixed.
Tell us about a problem
If you run into something on this site you cannot use, we want to hear about it. [PLACEHOLDER: confirm a business contact email or phone number for accessibility reports.] Please include the page address and a short description, and we will work with you to give you the information you need.
